Voice Effects

Voice effect selection is part of the dialer pre-call setup and is sent with call initiation.

VOICE MODULATION ENGINE

Real-time audio transformation via bridge

OFF🎙️

Natural voice passthrough with no processing. Your voice is transmitted as-is through the bridge.

BYPASS
DEEP🔊

Lowers pitch by several semitones. Creates a deeper, more authoritative voice. Effective for basic disguise.

-6 SEMITONES
ROBOT🤖

Synthetic modulation with ring modulation and vocoder effects. Makes voice sound mechanical and non-human.

VOCODER
ANON👻

Full anonymization — combines pitch shift, formant alteration, and spectral masking. Maximum voice privacy.

FULL MASK
DSP ENGINE: STANDBY

Available Presets

  • OFF -> no voice transformation.
  • DEEP -> lower pitch profile.
  • ROBOT -> synthetic modulation profile.
  • ANON -> strongest masking profile.

Operational Notes

  1. Select effect before pressing INITIATE_BRIDGE.
  2. Effect choice is persisted when switching personas that include voice_effect metadata.
  3. Non-OFF effects may influence burn-rate calculations shown in UI telemetry.

Troubleshooting

  • If effect seems unchanged, end call and re-initiate after reselecting the preset.
  • If persona switch changes effect unexpectedly, review your persona's stored voice_effect value in Persona Matrix.
